Webinars for the implementation of the 2nd Bundle of the new statutory forms
In the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan for the reform of the Registrar of Companies, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry announces the 2nd round of webinars for the implementation of the 2nd Bundle of the new statutory forms of the Companies Section, that were published on 18.12.2018 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus with the following Amending Regulations:
- The Company (Amending) Regulations of 2018
- The General and Limited Partnership and Business Names (Amending) Regulations of 2018
The above regulations constitute an important legislative reform promoted within the context of reform and reorganisation of the Department of Registrar of Companies that aim, on the one hand to simplify the procedures of the Companies Section and on the other, to ensure the adequate and timely updating of the companies’ Register.
The new and redesigned forms are gradually being implemented, following the introduction of the necessary system modifications, by publishing a relevant notification of the Registrar of Companies in the Official Gazette.
The Department of the Registrar of Companies is planning to implement the 2nd Bundle of statutory forms in September 2021, as shown in the list provided below.
One of the most significant reforms, the administrative restoration of a company onto the Register, is put into implementation with the 2nd Bundle of statutory forms. Through this process, a company, that has been struck off the Register by the Registrar of Companies due to non-compliance, can be restored on the Register following a simplified, out of Court procedure.
In order to support the users and ensure the most effective implementation of the new forms, the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Commerce is organizing a series of webinars for the business community in cooperation with the law firm “Hadjianastassiou, Ioannides LLC”, member of the Deloitte Legal network, as follows:

Speakers / trainers of the webinars are Mr. Kypros Ioannidis and Mr. Michalis Georgiou of the law firm " Hadjianastassiou, Ioannides LLC.", which is also responsible for the redesign of all forms and the drafting of the relevant amendment bills / Regulations.
