Ιmmense participation of companies in the Cyprus Israel Business Forum

In the framework of strengthening Cyprus’ and Israel’s business relations, as well as promoting the island as an international business centre for services, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Cyprus Trade Centre in Israel, the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, and the Cyprus-Israel Business Association, have organized a business delegation to Israel on the 10th of November 2022.

The Cyprus delegation headed by the Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Natasa Pilides, comprised of more than 25 Cypriot companies from a wide array of economic sectors.

The business forum featured panel discussions and keynote presentations from government and business leaders, including the Deputy Minister of Shipping and the CEO of Invest Cyprus; focusing on, ICT, investments, shipping and maritime services.

Participants were informed of Cyprus’ competitive advantages as an international business centre and investment destination, an international ship-management centre, and an emerging technology hub. In order to further facilitate the collaboration between Israeli and Cyprus businesses, the event concluded with a networking lunch.

The Forum was attended by more than 150 business leaders and company representatives from Israel. This proves the consistently excellent relations between the two countries both on behalf of the government as well as among the two business communities.
