Useful Information

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce & Industry in cooperation with the Cyprus Trade Centre in London and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) organised on 21 July 2022 a virtual event promoting the collaboration between Cypriot and British Universities in various sectors, such as academic programs, research and development, exchange of academic staff and students, and many more.

During the event, 8 Universities/Institutes from Cyprus had the opportunity to present themselves to representatives of 30 Universities in the UK, focusing on their programmes/activities, capabilities and potentials, as well as their areas of interest for collaboration.

Following the event, 25 B2B meetings took place between representatives of Cypriot and the UK Institutions.

Prior to presentations, Ms Cleo Savvidou, Senior Education Officer of the Ministry of Education delivered a detailed presentation on Higher Education in Cyprus.

The High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in the UK Mr. Andreas S. Kakouris addressed the event, along with Mr. Costas Dafos, Commercial Attaché at the Cyprus High Commission in London and Mr. Christos Petsides, Director of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
