The first application window through which SMEs could apply for the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” scheme, as per our announcement of 21/12/2020, ended on 31/01/2021. During that phase the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has received a total number of 37 reimbursement applications on trade mark and/or design basic application fees from Cypriot SMEs and 79 reimbursement applications from SMEs operating in Cyprus.

Cyprus is therefore ranked 13th among 27 participating countries’ applications from native SMEs and 8th among 28 National Offices’ applications from SMEs operating in Cyprus.

SMEs can apply for the «Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund» scheme during the next application window that is 01/03/2021-31/03/2021.
