The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI) announces that, within the framework of the “De Minimis grant scheme to Cypriot companies for participating in services exhibitions abroad, in which MECI participates with a national pavilion” MECI intends to participate in the Information Technology exhibition “GITEX”, which will be held in Dubai, UAE, from 16 to 20 October 2023.

MECI’s participation in the exhibition aims to contribute to the enhancement of the extroversion of Cypriot services companies , the promotion of the technology sector and thus to increase exports to both existing and new markets.

Participants in the national pavilion will have the opportunity to promote their technologies, as well as to utilize the networking and business cooperation opportunities offered with both foreign exhibitors and professional visitors.

The Application and the Informational Guide for the “De minimis” grand scheme, are only available in Greek and are listed below. Applications may be submitted by hand or by post by registered mail or by private courier until 29/03/2023.

Applications submitted after 29/03/2023 will not be taken into account.

It is noted that in case of non-participation of a sufficient number of enterprises in the Exhibition mentioned above, the Ministry reserves the right not to participate in the Exhibition.
